Our Recovery-Focused Events and Community Involvement
Turning Point hosts many events that directly serve our recovery community, such as our annual SoberFest celebration and our monthly Recovery Community Dinners.
We also participate in community-wide events where we proudly show what recovering out loud really means—making connections, offering resources, and reducing stigma.
Monthly Recovery Community Dinners
Turning Point hosts monthly community dinners on the third Thursday of every month. The dinners are served at the First Baptist Church at 601 Main Street, and feature sumptuous, expertly prepared food. The meals are completely free and open to the entire community.
SoberFest
Our flagship event started as an annual lantern release to celebrate those in recovery and remember those that we lost. That event has grown into an annual, community-wide festival featuring music, activities, food, and more. SoberFest also highlights our many partners and supporters. SoberFest 2025 will be held in downtown Bennington on Saturday, September 20, 2025, and promises to be our biggest event to date.
Mayfest and Harvest Fest
Be sure to stop by Turning Point’s table at each of these community events. Our staff will answer any questions you have, and provide free literature and harm reduction supplies. And we always feature fun, family-friendly activities.
